Attending: Msgr. McDermott, Angela Pholen, Jon Hughes, Tracey Whitney, Katherine Marsella (Co-President), Katie Nunn (Co-President), Erin Dye (Secretary), and Wayne Braun (Treasurer).
I. Opening Prayer
Tracey Whitney started the meeting with Opening Prayer at 5:35 p.m.
II. Approval of December 13, 2016 PTO Meeting Minutes
Katie Nunn moved, seconded by Wayne Braun, to approve the meeting minutes of
December 13, 2016. Motion passed unanimously.
III. Treasurer’s Report
No update at this time.
IV. Public Comment
• Request to move February 14 PTO meeting to February 21.
• Katherine provided an update on Box Tops.
• Lake Monsters date needs to be determined soon; potential date of August 27.
V. New Business
a. OPEN Vice President Position, Class Parent Coordinator/New Family Liaison – to be determined.
With a decline in volunteers and a decrease in funds raised, PTO decided to create a survey to ask for input on the future of Christ the King PTO. Survey link will be posted in the Wednesday newsletter.
Angela announced the decision has been made to move our uniform provider from New Horizons to Donnelly’s. A representative from Donnelly’s will be asked to attend our PTO meeting on February 21 to provide samples of clothing and use of web site.
c. Silent Auction
Each class will be asked to contact 10 businesses to collect donations for this year’s Silent Auction. Donations should be in by March 15.
d. Golf Tournament
Country Club of Vermont, tentative date of September 22, estimate 24 teams.
e. Spring Challenge – no update at this time.
