Attending: Msgr. McDermott, Jon Hughes, Odile Steel, Katherine Marsella (Co-President), Katie Nunn (Co-President), Erin Dye (Secretary), and Wayne Braun (Treasurer).
I. Opening Prayer
Odile Steel started the meeting with Opening Prayer at 5:34 p.m.
II. Approval of November 15, 2016 PTO Meeting Minutes
Katie Nunn moved, seconded by Wayne Braun, to approve the meeting minutes of
November 15, 2016. Motion passed unanimously.
III. Treasurer’s Report
Wayne Braun provided an updated PTO Budget report for the Golf Tournament, Genevieve, Harvest Family Hoedown, and the Holiday Extravaganza. PTO fundraising efforts are approximately $6,000 less than last year.
IV. Public Comment
None.
V. New Business
a. OPEN Vice President Position, Class Parent Coordinator/New Family Liaison – to be determined.
PTO Board discussed planning a future meeting to discuss how to obtain more volunteers and possible changes to fundraising events.
b. Cabaret/Silent Auction – Committee will hold first meeting in January.
c. Spring Challenge – Jay Nunn and Sean Farley are co-chairs for this event. Committee meeting to be held in February.
VI. Old Business
There’s still time to continue to sell Holiday Cash Calendars and to participate in the Barnes & Noble Book Fair. Final numbers for these events will hopefully be available at the January meeting.
