Christ the King-PTO

Attending: Msgr. McDermott, Angela Pholen, Jon Hughes, Tracey Whitney, Katherine Marsella (Co-President), Katie Nunn (Co-President), Erin Dye (Secretary), and Wayne Braun (Treasurer).

I. Opening Prayer

Msgr. McDermott started the meeting with Opening Prayer at 5:42 p.m.

II. Approval of February 21, 2017 PTO Meeting Minutes

Katie Nunn moved, seconded by Wayne Braun, to approve the meeting minutes of

February 21, 2017. Motion passed unanimously.

III. Treasurer’s Report

Nothing to report at this time.

IV. Public Comment

None.

V. Business

a. Cabaret/Silent Auction – Katie Nunn updated the spreadsheet of auction items. Approximately 40 items. List of auction items to be included in Wednesday Folder.

b. Spring Challenge – Committee to schedule first meeting.

c. Golf Tournament – Scheduled for September 29 at the Country Club of Vermont; estimated $105/person, dinner, possible meal – to be determined.

d. Survey Results - Thirty-two individuals participated in the PTO survey. Those who participated indicated the Golf Tournament & Genevieve’s Gift wrapping should be eliminated and replaced with a new fundraiser. Fundraising suggestions included Amazon Affiliates, Mother & Son Night, Monthly 50/50 Raffle, Family Fun Run, and Casino Night. Survey results also showed that the survey participants would prefer to pay some more in tuition and have the PTO focus on only a couple of key fundraising events.
